Meet Vernon

We'd like to introduce you to our newest Lime Canary family member, Vernon. He's a stud. Vernon had been living his life as a photo studio prop, but his services were no longer needed. We decided to snatch him up so he could expand his resume and keep proppin' it up in the event world. He's sporting some gold, crushed velvet digs, and we think you should seriously consider renting him!

Sneak Peak...Francesca

Happy Groundhog Day! I'd like to take a moment and give you a sneak peak of our newest family member, Francesca. Here she is in her natural habitat, but once she gets to the warehouse, we'll take some full on glamor shots so you can really see what she's all about. Francesca is one beautiful buffet with some great details. She's going to be a star!

Milicent's Makeover

Milicent was a salvage find. She had amazing structure and I knew she had some serious potential. For the past couple weeks she's been in the upholstery shop getting a makeover. We love the results! She's now stunning in black velvet!

Franklin

Meet our first, studly, male sofa...Franklin (please ignore the radical 1970s decor...it's part of the natural habitat Franklin was plucked from).

His strong lines and masculine features balance the curves of all the lady sofas in our collection. He's a versatile fella and can hold his own in any decor. We're excited to add him to our collection.

On another note, we moved into our new space and we can't wait to share it with you soon!

Mission Accomplished!

This weekend we were on the prowl for a bookcase...We found one! She's a beauty and we decided to call her Loretta. I love her antique look. She's not your average bookcase. We still need to Loretta up, but this is a nice photo of her. OoooohhhAaaaaaahhhhhh!

Handsome Devil!

It's been a great short week! I was going about my morning thinking it was Wednesday, and just realized it's actually Thursday! I love when that happens. I do not love when I think it is Thursday and it's only Wednesday. Anywho, I digress.

Meet Boris! He is one handsome little devil. I would say he is a little brother to our larger table Vladimir (who's a beast). This guy is a stunner. He's very versatile and could be used for almost anything. Boris looks great decked out with our eclectic, mismatched chairs surrounding him. Love!

Makeover Time!

Hello lovelies! I hope you had a wonderful Fourth of July! We had a great time soaking up the sun and beautiful blue skies. We also did a little work. Meet Matilda (there are two of her)! She was a sad looking stray when we found her, but we did some upholstery magic and...Voila! She's lookin' good!

It's amazing what a little new fabric and padding will do. We've been busy learning the upholstery trade and we're hoping to become upholstery Gods by this time next year. Our next project is a super rad victorian love seat! Can't wait!

Chair Bonanza!

Whoooooooo Doggies...It's a toasty one out there today! On the Lime Canary front, we've adopted a large collection of 75 (give or take a few) side chairs. This awesome, eclectic mix of chairs would be great for ceremony or table seating. You could use one. You could use them all. You really can't go wrong with these little beauties! Each one is unique and we've got a lot of naming to do! We love them so much!

On another note, we just wrapped an amazing photo shoot with Red Ribbon Studio, and I can't wait to show you pictures! They will knock your socks off! Later gators!

Sylvia

Okey dokey, I promised you new things...Here's one of our recent finds. Meet Sylvia. She's one classy lasse. Her most recent gig was anchoring a dessert display, and she looked darn good. Take her for a spin!

They Had Me At Hello!

Meet Mavis and Percy. I happened upon these two little devils while out on a leisurely drive. I just couldn't pass them up. Some people pick up stray puppies and kittens...I pick up stray furniture. Not nearly as cuddly as a furry critter, but it has a special place in my heart. They both have tons of character and would be perfect for a cake table or any other display.  I'm imagining a beautiful, elegant cake, atop a chippy well-loved table. I love the combintation of rustic elegance!

What's in a Name?

Hello lovelies! I've been busy working away this evening.  Doing what? You may ask.  Well, I've been naming the Lime Canary furniture.  I know it's a bit strange, but I fully believe each vintage piece has its own special identity...and with an identity comes a name.  So without further ado, let me introduce Gertrude.  She's the newest addition to the Lime Canary family.  She's a stunner!
